  • Updated description of Parity indices, (female/male) primary OOS from

###Definition: * Parity indices are indicators used to measure equality in enrollment rates between females and males in a specific level of education. In this context, it refers to the parity indices specifically looking at female vs male enrollment in primary school. * Primary school is the first stage of formal education, typically designed for children between the ages of 6 and 11. * Out-of-school (OOS) rates refer to the percentage of children within the official age range for a specific level of education who are not enrolled in school. * Therefore, parity indices for female/male primary OOS specifically measures how equal the out-of-school rates are between girls and boys in primary education. A parity index of 1 indicates that the OOS rates are the same for both genders. A parity index greater than 100 indicates that there are more boys out of school compared to girls, and vice versa for a parity index less than 100. ###Unit of Measure: * Rate ###Year: * 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 ###Source: * BPS - SUSENAS KOR ###SDG Indicators: * 4.5.1 ###CPAP Outcome: * Education for Early Childhood and Adolescent Development ###CPAP Output: * 2.1 Basic education
