Definition:

• The number of adults living below the international poverty line of US$1.9 (PPP) per day refers to the total number of adults in Indonesia who cannot afford to meet their basic needs for living. This poverty line is defined in terms of Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), which means it takes into account the different prices of goods and services across countries. So, $1.90 would buy roughly the same amount of essential items (like food, shelter, clothing) in any country.
